CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Austin Peay State University's Taymar Sales U. team announced an expansion and restructuring to enhance corporate partnerships and revenue generation across the department. The team welcomes Madi Etherton, Joe Hudak, and Nathan Combs while reintroducing Austin Peay baseball Hall of Famer Parker Phillips as general manager and promoting Kelsey Miller.
Taymar's team focuses on key areas such as annual giving, donor engagement, ticket and sponsorship sales, management and execution, and fostering community partnerships. These efforts are aligned with Taymar Sales U.'s mission to drive new revenue growth for athletic departments through personalized service and goal alignment.
Phillips, who previously managed sponsorship sales for Austin Peay, returned to APSU in Nov. 2025 and now serves as the General Manager for Revenue Generation. A 2019 Austin Peay graduate, Phillips oversees Taymar's team in Clarksville while providing strategic direction focused on expanding APSU's presence locally, regionally, and nationally.
Etherton, a 2025 Austin Peay graduate, joins the Taymar team as the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement. Etherton's primary responsibilities include creating impactful experiences for donors, strengthening relationships, and overseeing premier athletics events and donor relations at APSU. Her focus will be on ensuring that supporters feel valued and connected to the Austin Peay Athletics community.
Hudak steps into the role of Account Executive for Sponsorships, where he will concentrate on driving new sponsorship sales and managing existing partnerships. Hudak, a Saint Bonaventure graduate, brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in sports marketing and sponsorship strategy, aiming to enhance revenue opportunities and foster long-term partnerships within the APSU community.
Combs has been appointed to the revamped team with a strong background in corporate partnership fulfillment and promotional events. Combs, who graduated from Cincinnati with a degree in sport administration, will be pivotal in executing partnership activations and ensuring the delivery of value to APSU's partners.
Miller, who previously served as Director of Annual Giving, now oversees all aspects driving Austin Peay's ticketing revenue. Her new role involves greater responsibilities in managing and executing ticketing strategy.
