Athletic Director's Honor Roll (F22, S23)
2022: One of the Governors five season-long captains, played in all 11 games and made 10 starts at safety… Picked up three solo tackles in his Austin Peay debut against Western Kentucky (Aug. 27)… Had a pair of tackles, a pass breakup, and an interception with a five-yard return against Mississippi Valley State (Sept. 10)… Posted four tackles and an interception against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 24)… Added four more tackles and a tackle for loss against Central Arkansas (Oct. 1)… Notched seven tackles against Jacksonville State (Oct. 29)… Recorded four tackles, a tackle for loss, and an interception against Kennesaw State (Nov. 12)… Led the Govs with a season-high 13 tackles in the season finale against Alabama (Nov. 19)… Finished the season with 47 total tackles – the fifth-most on the team – and 1.5 tackles for loss… His three interceptions were tied for the most by a Gov in 2022.
Prior to Austin Peay: Played four seasons at Virginia Military Institute and will utilize his COVID-19 waiver season at Austin Peay… Finished VMI career with 270 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 23 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions and was a two-time Second Team All-SoCon honoree… Played multiple defensive positions as a senior and was primarily a safety during the season’s second half, earning Second Team All-SoCon honors… Finished Fall 2021 season with 73 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 7 pass breakups, and a fumble forced… A Second Team All-SoCon selection following Spring 2021 season after recording 44 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 6 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions in eight-game campaign that saw VMI reach the FCS Playoffs.
High School: Prepped at Sparkman High School where he was a defensive back for head coach Chris Cagle and Laron White. Helped lead Sparkman to the Alabama Class 7A state playoffs in 2017… In senior season at Sparkman, recorded 112 tackles, 6 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 blocked field goals… Was a First Team All-State selection by the Alabama Sports Writers Association and First Team All-Region honoree and selected to AHSAA North-South All-Star Game in 2017.
Personal: Ethan Greer Caselberry is the son of Sharon and Terrance Caselberry… Birthday is Oct. 22… Has three siblings: Morgan, Kennedy, and Terrance… Pursuing a master’s degree in management.
