2023: A Second Team All-UAC selection, he played in all 12 games and made 10 starts at tight end… Totaled a career-high three receptions for 23 yards in the season opener at Southern Illinois (Sept. 2)… Had a five-yard touchdown reception – his first touchdown as a Governor – against ETSU (Sept. 16)… Recorded a season-long 31-yard reception on his lone catch at Lindenwood (Sept. 30)… Hauled in a four-yard touchdown reception against North Alabama (Oct. 28)… Tallied two receptions for eight yards against Central Arkansas (Nov. 18)… Had a six-yard reception in the FCS Playoffs First Round against Chattanooga (Nov. 25)… Finished the season with 10 receptions for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
2022: Played in all 11 games and made nine starts at tight end in his first season at Austin Peay… Had one catch for 20 yards – his first reception as a Gov – against Presbyterian (Sept. 3)… Had at least one reception in each of the final seven games of the season… Made one catch for 19 yards against Jacksonville State (Oct. 29)… Recorded two receptions for 22 yards – including a season-long 21-yard catch – against North Alabama (Nov. 5)… Posted two catches for a season-best 25 yards against Kennesaw State (Nov. 12)… Finished the season with 11 catches for 127 yards.
Prior to Austin Peay: Played four seasons at Campbell (2018-21). 2021: Played in 11 games as a redshirt junior, finishing with two receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown… Scored his touchdown on a 60-yard reception against Presbyterian (Sept. 18)… Also had a 15-yard reception against Howard (Nov. 13). 2020: Saw action in the first two games of the season… Notched first collegiate reception at Wake Forest (Oct. 2). 2019: Did not play during the 2019 season in Buies Creek. 2018: Made collegiate debut in Camels’ season-opener against Chowan, his only appearance of the season.
High School: An all-conference performer for West Forsyth High School for head coach Adrian Snow… Also lettered in baseball and basketball.
Personal: Jordan James Goco is the son of Tom and Julie Goco… Birthday is May 31… Has two siblings: TJ and Brittany… Father, Tom, played tennis at Washington and brother, TJ, played baseball at Winston-Salem State... Graduated from Campbell in August 2022 with a bachelor’s in healthcare management... Pursuing a master’s in management.
