2009 Outlook: Missed fall workouts following shoulder surgery ... released by doctors in December to start throwing ... hopes to be able to pitch in games in late March, early April.

2008 (Junior): Only appeared in 11 games due to shoulder injury that led to surgery ... only win of the season game against NCAA Tournament participant Louisiana Tech (3/7) at Mississippi State Bulldog Classic ... set career high with two RBIs versus Belmont (3/11).

2007 (Sophomore): Was in the circle for 21 games, starting 17, with three complete games ... recorded first college shutout versus Eastern Illinois (4/28), a 6-0 three-hit effort ... pitched 6.1 innings in combined 2-0 shutout against Kennesaw State (3/9) ... finished campaign with a 7-7 win-loss record and a 3.49 ERA in 102.1 inning pitched ... struck out 65 while walking 18 ... set personal single-game highs in innings pitched (eight) and strikeouts (nine) versus Memphis (4/25) ... along with pitching duties, also started two games in left field, one in right field, with three starts as designated player ... batted .267 in 15 at bats, including first college hit versus Kentucky Wesleyan (2/21) ... drove in two runs, including a eighth-inning game winner versus Jacksonville State (4/22) ... went 1-for-2 as pinch hitter ...had a .976 fielding percentage with one error in 42 chances ... had career-high six assists versus Middle Tennessee (4/19).

2006 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games, starting four, with one complete game ... finished with 0-3 record and a 6.85 ERA ... came in out of the bullpen in combined 9-0 shutout versus Kentucky Wesleyan (3/15) ... totaled 30.2 innings in circle, including season-high six versus Eastern Kentucky (4/1) ... struck out five, including season-high two versus Tennessee-Martin (3/23), while walking 11 ... was 0-for-2 in only plate appearances ... committed one error in 13 chances, a .923 fielding percentage.

High School: Pitched for Rick Batchelor at Flora High School where she was named to the Illinois Association All-State Softball Team, IHSA Softball Second Team All-State, HHSA All-State Softball and the Decatur Herald and Review All-Area First Team after going 23-5 with a 0.39 ERA and 243 strikeouts in 163 innings of work in her senior season. Also played basketball, where she scored more than 1,000 points in her prep career.

Personal: Daughter of Brent and Terri Briscoe ... birthday is Sept. 1 ... has a younger brother, Trent ... is a education major and wants to become a teacher and coach after college ... member of Kappa Delta Pi ...... Jennie Finch, former University of Arizona and current Team USA softball member, is athlete she most admires.
