Career Recap: Austin Peay
2025 (Sophomore)
Started all 50 games she appeared in, with 49 starts at right field and one at catcher… Led Austin Peay with 14 home runs, the third-most in program history and the most since Danielle Liermann’s record 19 during the 2019 season, which also were second in the ASUN Conference. Those 14 homers in her first season also put her 17th all-time for a career… Second on the team and sixth in the ASUN with a .618 slugging percentage, the 11th-best mark in a single season in program history… Third on the team with 16 walks… Fifth on the team with 32 runs… Had a hit in 29 games and six multi-hit performances… Reached base in each of her first 10 games of the season… Had her first of two multi-home run games of the season against Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 8) at Mercer’s Heart of Georgia Classic, with her season’s first home run coming in a first-inning grand slam to finish the day with a season-high five RBI – the second-most by a Governor in 2025 and the seventh-most by an ASUN student-athlete… Had her first of six doubles against Tarleton State (Feb. 14) at its Whataburger Invitational… Hit a two-run homer against South Dakota State (Feb. 14)… Her fourth home run of the season came at Furman (Feb. 21) at the Furman Classic… Hit home runs in both of Austin Peay’s home tournaments, with the first coming against Northern Kentucky (Feb. 28)… Hit two home runs at APSU’s Cathi Maynard Invitational, with the first coming in a two-hit performance against Appalachian State (March 7) and the second against UMass Lowell (March 8)… Went 3-for-3 from the plate with three RBI and two home runs against Lipscomb (March 21)… Hit another home run the following day against the Bisons (March 22)… Her first-career appearance at catcher came at Tennessee Tech (April 23)… Homered in the series opener at Lipscomb (May 1)… Had a hit in each of Austin Peay’s final three games of the season, including a career-best three hits and one home run in a win against Florida Gulf Coast (May 8) in the 2025 ASUN Softball Championship… Ended the season two runs, one hit, and a home run against Stetson (May 9).
Career Recap: North Carolina State 2024 (Freshman)
Began her collegiate career at NC State… Appeared in 17 games, making three starts at DP for the Wolfpack… Recorded her first-career hit against St. John’s (Feb. 11)… Had her first-career and lone home run of the season against Presbyterian (April 20)… Played catcher for the final game of the season against Pitt (May 5), recording 10 putouts.
Career Recap: Baylor School
Four-year varsity starter at Baylor School… Helped lead the Wildcats to the 2022 and 2021 Division II AA State Championship, increasing the team’s State Championship streak to a Tennessee-record eight-straight… Led the team with 12 home runs as a junior and was named an All-Region recipient during her senior season.
