2009 Singles: Finished with a 3-13 overall record, including a 1-6 record in conference play… played at No. 4 Singles … picked up lone conference win against Tennessee State’s Michael Mosley (6-0, 6-1). Doubles: Finished with a 2-12 overall record, including a 1-5 record in conference play... played No.2 doubles with Renan Bezerra…picked up lone conference win against Eastern Illinois (8-7) match was decided with a tie breaker (5-0).

2008 Singles: Finished with a 5-4 overall record… played No. 6 singles… picked up two wins in the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational. Doubles: Finished with a 1-2 overall record…played doubles with Darren Tallent.

High School: Played at H.B. Plant High School where he lettered all four years... was a district and regional champion in 2006... also was a state qualifier...a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Nacho and Monica La Puente... born June 17, 1989... plans to major in business administration.
