2010 Indoor: Continued her run as a OVC sprint specialist... set the
school record in the 400-meter dash with a 55.85 mark, earning second-place for
the Lady Govs at the OVC Championships... won at the OSU-Tune Up in the 400-meter
dash posting a mark of 56.62... achieved a personal-best 200-meter dash mark of
25.35 at the OVC Championships for a sixth-place finish.
2010 Outdoor: Continued her dominance of the 200- and 400-meter
dash and ran the hurdles... led the Lady Govs with three victories in the outdoor
season... won at the Governors Invitational with a 25.14 mark in the 200-meter
dash... posted a personal-best 400-meter dash time of 55.17 at the OVC Championships,
to win the event... took top honors in the 400-meter dash at the Spring Fling
with a 57.73 mark.
2009 Outdoor: Continued her prowess in the dash, she has become an effective hurdler...picked up two wins in the 400-meter dash, at the Governors Invitational (56.51) and the OVC Championships (56.52)...earned points for the Lady Govs on seven occasions...was third in the OVC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles with a 1:03.61 mark.
2009 Indoor: Earned points on five occasions for the Lady Govs...finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles at the TSU Invite with a season-best 9.11 mark...season-best 8.70 mark in the 55-meter hurdles at the Ed Temple Classic, finishing eighth...was runner-up in the 400-meter dash at the OVC Championships, with a 58.22 mark.
2008 Outdoor: Earned two victories during outdoor season...won the 400-meter dash at the Spring Fling with a season-best 59.97 mark...at the Governor Invitational, won the 400-meter hurdles with a 1:08.66 time.
2008 Indoor: Competed in the 400- and 800-meter dashes...finished eighth in the 800 at the Saluki SASF with a 2:30.80 mark...season-best 59.31 mark in the 400 came at the McDonald's Invitational, where she finished 10th.
Prep: Ran relays and hurdles for Wade White at Rossview High... part of the back-to-back state champion 4x400 meter relay team in 2005 and 2006... as an individual, Obi competed in the 300-meter run and was a second-team all-state volleyball player under coach Terry Tetter
