College: Sure-handed cornerback returns as starter for third season...displayed great maturity and confidence during spring...owns great route anticipation and ability to read quarterbacks... Attained a total of three tackles against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers to start the season. Played his second game of the season against the Virginia Tech Hokies, creating an assisted tackle. In 2011, led Govs in interceptions with three, with the first coming in Govs' OVC-opening victory against Eastern Kentucky...also had five tackles in that game after collecting season-best six in road loss at Memphis...had interceptions against Eastern Illinois and Central State...forced fumble against Southeast Missouri...in 2010, started season as reserve after getting late clearance from NCAA, but emerged into contender early in season... his 33 tackles were fifth-most among defensive backs... tied for team lead with two interceptions and six pass break ups... led team with eight passes defended...made four solo stops in season opener against Cumberland... 24 of 33 tackles were unassisted... had six tackles against Southeast Missouri... only tackle at Eastern Illinois was for a four-yard loss... made five solo tackles against UT Martin and had season's first interception... had only two tackles at Eastern Kentucky, including one tackle for loss... also made season's second interception at EKU.

High School: Former Texas prep product moved to Florida as senior and moved from wide receiver to cornerback...finished season with 36 tackles, two interceptions and 13 deflections as shutdown corner...tremendous athlete who also was outstanding track star...was ranked in Texas Top 10 as junior in 200 meters.
