Biography

College: Returns for final season after emerging with superb junior campaign...one of OVC's top wide receivers and offensive performers...physical performer who has ability to make difficult catches...possesses good size with speed and ability to make long plays...named to the College Football Performance Awards Watch List for wide receivers entering 2012...has developed great chemistry with quarterback Jake Ryan...In 2012 game against Tennessee State reached the 1,000-career pass reception yard mark in his career with a 12-yard first-quarter pass reception. Became the 13th reciever in APSU history with 1,000 receiving yards...In Murray State game totaled 100 yards in a game for the second time this season and the third time in his career, finishing with a career high 125 yards on 10 catches... With this first pass reception in the first half against Eastern Kentucky, took over sole possession of sixth-place for career receptions with a total of 109 catches...Had a career high in receiving yards against Southeast Missouri with 145 yards. It was also his second game with multiple touchdowns this season, and the fourth of his career. Also had 145 all-purpose yards, the second most for a Gov this year... In game against Jacksonville State caught eight passes and advanced season reception total to 58. That mark is the second most by a Governors receiver since Lanis Frederick had 77 in the 2006 season. Also with TD catch against Jacksonville State has 16 career scoring receptions, leaving him tied for second all-time with Michael Farrell behind Red Roberts (31)... In Tennessee Tech contest led the Govs with nine catches for 94 yards. It was his fourth game in the season with at least nine catches in a game. Also moved into fifth place all-time in school history in receptions (141) moving him past Pat Curran (2000-04). Stark's three touchdown receptions in Tennessee Tech game marked the first time a Gov scored three touchdowns in a game since Stark scored three against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 24, 2011.....in 2011, his 53 receptions and 627 receiving yards were most by a Govs since Lanis Frederick had 77 catches for 1101 yards in 2006...his seven TD receptions were the most by a Gov since Frederick had seven in 2006...opened 2011 season with five catches for 66 yards against FBS-member Cincinnati...then recorded career's first 100-yard receiving performance with nine catches for 107 yards against Memphis...continued outstanding early season play with six catches for 79 yards and career-best three touchdowns against Eastern Kentucky in OVC-opening win...his third-quarter 11-yard touchdown catch proved to be game-winning points...came back with seven catches for 94 yards and touchdown against Tennessee State in APSU's second OVC win...collected four catches in each of next two games, including a TD catch against Jacksonville State...had 35 catches over first six games until Ryan was hurt at Southeast Missouri...had just seven catches in  2 1/2 games with Ryan's absence...came alive after Ryan came off bench against Murray State...finished with seven catches for  81 yards and two TDs...first TD was 37 yards from Ryan...final TD came on 10-yard strike from  freshman Landon Curtis...had four catches in finale at Tennessee Tech...former prep quarterback occasionally ran "wildcat," rushing once for nine yards versus Eastern Illinois...in 2010, moved into the starting lineup, starting all 10 games he played, being forced to sit out Murray State game with leg injury... the Governors X-receiver led receiving corps with 19 catches for 253 yards, averaging 13.3 yards per catch,  scoring two touchdowns...Stark showed versatility throwing 30-yard touchdown pass to Darryl Miller against Cumberland in season opener...that toss represented Governors' longest touchdown pass... 14 of 19 catches on season resulted in first downs...made at least one catch in eight games... caught four passes for 68 yards at Middle Tennessee, including 28-yard score...caught season's longest pass, a 41 yarder, at Tennessee State...hauled in season-high five receptions against Tennessee Tech, including five-yard scoring catch... listed No. 1 on depth chart in 2009 at wideout after impressive spring...caught two passes for 31 yards in only spring scrimmage... eligibility certification issue delayed 2009 availability...played in final seven games...caught three passes for 52 yards... averaged 17.3 yards per catch... longest play totaled 23 yards.

High School: Played wide receiver and quarterback for Rahmann Slocum at Fairley High School...passed for 1,907 yards and 19 TDs as a senior...also rushed for five scores...earned all-region...selected to Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps All-Metro team...selected to play in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl All-Star Classic...named as Coaches All-Region quarterback...two-sport star also played baseball.

Personal: Business management major... son of Kevin Stark and JoAnn Lumpkins... born Aug. 25, 1991... age 21.
