Biography
2012: The only Gov aside from Konnor Kessler with a top-20 finish, Kepley proved a good No. 2 runner this season... placed one spot behind Kessler, at 17th, in the Powerade Invite (17:30.90)... eighteenth with a 27:24.84 mark at the JSU Foothills... third runner across for Austin Peay but still place 26th at the Front Runner Invitational (16:44.21)... one of three top-50 finishers at the OVC Championships - finished 49th after a 26:41.73 run.
2011 Season: Competed in all seven races... season-best second-place finish came at the Kentucky State Thorobred Stampede, finishing with a 30:58.71 mark...season-best time 27:18.76 came at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic...finished 43rd at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, with a 27:49.40 mark.
2010 Season: A consistent freshman runner for the Govs...earned a season-best 51st-place finish in the 5k Belmont Opener with a 17:20.99 mark...recorded best 8k finish at the Fast Cats Invitational with a 27:40.97 mark, earning a 31st-place finish...posted a personal-best 8k mark at the Memphis Twilight with a 27:16.69.
High School: Ran cross-country for Glen Gattis at Macon County High School... 2009 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Region 4 runner-up in cross-country... earned fifth-place at the 2010 TSSAA A-AA state meet in the two-mile run... graduated sixth out of 210 students at Macon County High School.
Personal: Son of Sheila and Gary Kepley... born on Nov. 19, 1991... plans to major in accounting.
