College: Govs’ preseason All-OVC performer expected to be anchor of the offensive line at right tackle…suffered broken wrist during winter weight-lifting accident but was able to practice  during latter stages of spring workouts…started all 11 games in 2012… stalwart of a line that opened holes for a running game that gained 4.4 yards per carry and allowed just 10 sacks the entire season… served as valuable reserve his first two seasons as Gov… played significantly in his first two seasons, including pair of starts in each season…started back-to-back games in 2011 against Southeast Missouri and Eastern Illinois… part of offensive line that ranked 13th nationally in sacks allowed and 37th in rushing… in 2010, proved to be one of Govs most productive freshman linemen… saw consistent playing time in first APSU season… appeared in nine games, including two starts early in season… part of offensive line that put up tremendous numbers against the pass rush, allowing only nine sacks… helped Govs to OVC’s third-best rushing effort, averaging 167.1 yards-per-game.

High School: Offensive tackle for Tom Shuman at Ravenwood High School...late bloomer who moved in as starter on offensive line as senior at Ravenwood...September 2009 recipient of John Maher Scholar-Athlete of the Month award.

Personal: Business-finance major…  member of President’s List, (4.0 GPA) all six APSU semesters…presented Governors Club Academic Achievement Scholarship for owning department’s highest GPA (4.0) for rising senior...football’s scholar-athlete...named to Capital One Academic All-District team... 2010, 2011, 2012 recipient of OVC Medal of Honor for owning highest GPA in conference-sponsored sport… also three-time member of OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… son of Byron and Rosemarie Stansfield…  born March 10, 1992…  age 21.
