2007-08: As a junior, Coles competed in seven tournaments for the Govs, with 15 of his 21 rounds counting for the team...he started the fall season strong, posting a career-best, sixth-place finish at the Troy University Invitational where he fired a three-round 223 and posted his season-low 71 in second-round play...during the summer, he finished t-19th with a three-day total 213 (69-73-71) at the SunTrust Tennessee State Open.

2006-07: Competed in three tournaments in his second season as a Gov... finished t-33rd in his only fall tourney at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate... had a career best finish at the Belmont Intercollegiate April 2-3... shot a career-low 69 in his final round for a three-round total of 209, helping the Govs break the school record for the team low 54-hole tournament, (824).

2005-06: Competed in five tournaments in first APSU season... in three fall tournaments, competed two as part of the team and one as individual..had his best fall finish as the Governors hosted the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, finishing in 45th-place tie... competed in two spring tournaments, with his best showing coming at the Eastern Kentucky Spring Invitational, firing a three-round total of 235 for 44th-place tie... during summer play, finished tied for second at the Planters Bank City Amateur in Clarksville behind then teammate Chris Barron... .he also finished third at the East Tennessee Amateur, again behind Barron and teammate Grant Leaver.

High School: Played at Centennial High School... was teams MVP and a second-team All-Mid State selection his senior year... had six top-10 finishes in the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) and SJGT (Southern Junior Golf Tour)... finished first at AJGA Chateau Elan Qualifier in Brasleton Ga... had a ninth-place finish at the Subaru Open at Andover in Lexington Ky.
