2009-10: As a junior, Sherrod played in 10 tournaments, posting a .404 winning percentage… his 22 counting rounds was third-best on team… struggled in the early going… posted a first-round scoring average of 78.1, and was at least two strokes better in the second (75.1) and third (76.6) rounds… his overall 76.67 stroke average was third-best on team… played his best golf at season’s end… season’s only top-20 finish came at Ohio Valley Conference Golf Championships, where he shot 74-73-76=223.

2008-09: As a sophomore, Sherrod was named first-team All-OVC with a Golfstat Adjusted Player Ranking of 461...named to the OVC All-Tournament team after finishing third with a 216 (74-70-72) at the OVC Championship...he had six top-10 finishes... fired his lowest score (66) at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate, finishing 6th...at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, he also shot a 66, finishing fifth...twice shot a three-round 209 total, at Xavier where he finished third and at F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate...owns a .693 winning percentage...his 73.97 scoring average was second best for Govs... over the summer, Sherrod finished 39th in the Tennessee State Amateur Tournament, played at the Honors Course.

2007-08: As a freshman, Sherrod competed in eight of 11 tournaments for the Govs, with 19 of his 24 rounds counting for the team... Sherrod received was named to the OVC All-Newcomer team...he posted two top-15 finishes on the season...he tied for second on the team for rounds in the 60s (3) and ranked third on the team in winning percentage (.526) and scoring average (75.92)...his season-best finish came in his fourth spring tournament, the Arkansas State Indian Classic, where he fired three consecutive rounds in the 60s (67-68-69) to finish with a three-round 204 and t-2nd with teammate Grant Leaver...his other top-15 performance came at the OVC Championship where he fired a three-round 228 (77-77-74) to finish t-11th, firing the second best three-round score for the Governors at the OVC Championships.

High School: Played at Powell High School under coach Greg Bruce... ranked as the 15th best prep golfer in Tennessee for the Class of 2007...competed in the Tennessee State Juniors, capturing a top-10 finish firing rounds of 75-71-74=220... in the summer of 2006, had six top-10 finishes competing on the Untied States Junior Golf Tour...member of the Tennessee Tri-State team.
