2012: Twice broke into the top 40 this season... thirty-third overall at Powerade Invite (19:24.25)... just missed a top-40 at the JSU Foothills, finishing 43rd with a 30:16.33 mark... followed that with a 39th-place showing at the Front Runner Invitational thanks to an 18:14.69 run.

2011 Season: Competed in all seven races...season-best third-place finish came at the Kentucky State Thorobred Stampede, finishing with a 31:36.54 mark...season-best time 27:49.40 came at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic...finished the Ohio Valley Conference Championships with a 29:06.74 mark.

2010 Season: Only competed in four events for the Govs...earned a season-best 39th-place finish in the 8k Fast Cats Invitational with a 28:10.26 mark...recorded a 48th-place finish at the OVC Championships with a 28:53.74 mark...posted a personal-best mark of 27:33.94 at the 8k Memphis Twilight.

High School: Ran cross-country for Amy Beckly at Dyersburg High School... personal-record of 10:48 in the two-mile run... earned a personal-record in the mile run with a 5:04 mark.

Personal: Son of Livia and Andres Martinez... born on Sept. 8, 2009... plans to major in computer science.
