Honors: Athletics Director’s Honor Roll: F11

College: Appeared in 10 games in the 2013 season… his nine receptions ranked tied for sixth on team… had a season-high six receptions for 46 yards against UT Martin… had a reception in games against Vanderbilt, UT Martin, Jacksonville State and Tennessee State… made three starts in 11 appearances in 2012… recorded 15 catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns… had three catches for 20 yards against Tennessee State… made one catch against Eastern Illinois (14 yards), Murray State (23) and Eastern Kentucky (seven)… had three catches for 53 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown reception, against Southeast Missouri… equaled season-best with three catches against Jacksonville State, netting 24 yards… finished season strong with season-high 63 receiving yards on two catches against Tennessee Tech, including a 38-yard touchdown in the first quarter… enjoyed productive freshman season in 2011… speed and quickness opened door for young receiver to immediately become part of rotation… caught 11 passes for 123 yards… opened season with pair of receptions against Cincinnati and followed it up with two more for 24 yards following week against Memphis… caught season-long 31-yard pass against Tennessee State… caught season’s only touchdown pass, a 10 yarder vs. UT Martin… caught one pass against Jacksonville State and two against Southeast Missouri… however, only caught one pass over final four games..
High School: Played wide receiver and defensive back for Isaac Shelby at Northeast High School… defensively had 27 solo tackles, 29 assists, seven pass deflections, six interceptions, and two defensive touchdowns as a senior… offensively, had 27 catches for 566 yards and seven touchdowns… two-time all-region and all-area player… started for West team in Tennessee All-Star game… also played in the Class AAA basketball state tournament.

Personal: Applied exercise science major… son of Kevin Embry and Jackie and Daniel Schmeling… born March 12… uncle Servalius “Tellie” Embry played at Auburn (1996-99).
