College: Expected to battle for starting receiver position…lanky receiver has great speed to go with height… has worked to improve strength…leading returning receiver of Govs’ wideouts...appeared in 10 games, including four starts, in 2012… big target finished the season with 19 catches for 174 yards and a touchdown…had one reception against Virginia Tech and Tennessee State… made two catches for 14 yards against Eastern Illinois… had season highs in catches (four) and yards (41) against Murray State…four-yard touchdown catch against Eastern Kentucky was one score of  season… had three catches in three of last four games against Southeast Missouri (22 yards), Jacksonville State (32 yards) and Tennessee Tech (34 yards)…in 2011, moved into starting lineup early in season… ended with seven starts… caught seven passes for 107 yards… caught only one in first three games before hooking up Jake Ryan for 72-yard TD reception against Tennessee State… caught an 11-yard pass versus Eastern Illinois before wrapping up season with 13 yards against Tennessee Tech.

High School: Wide receiver for Arsenate Broome's run-oriented Maplewood High School team...had nine catches for 79 yards and 2 TDs...helped lead team to Class 4AAA state semifinals...finalist for Hume Award...also played basketball at Maplewood.

Personal: Chemistry major… son of Norman and Sheila Cox… cousin of former Govs kick-return record setter Terrence Holt… .born April 24, 1993… age 20.
