College: Missed the 2008 season after suffering a knee injury during previous spring practice...moved from guard to center after making the opposite transition in Spring 2007...listed No. 2 on depth chart at center behind sophomore Tim Schmid...appeared ready to move into 2008 lineup until knee injury interrupted plans...provided capable relief behind Duncan Williams Jr. at guard in Fall 2007...shifted from center to guard during Spring 2007...gained experience during first APSU season in 2006...in fact, saw playing extensive playing time at Cumberland when starter Travis Dumke was injured...High School: Played offensive and defensive tackle for John Reid at Alcoa High School...four-year starter...three-time All-State and all-region selection...member of two state championship teams...Personal: Business management major...six-time member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll...son of Herchell B.
