Biography

2015 Cross Country: Veteran was among APSU’s most consistent performers… led all APSU runners at the Powerade Invitational, finishing 14th overall thanks to her 11:54.60 two-mile mark… posted two top-10 finishes: at the APSU Invitational (fifth, 19:48) and the Cross Country-Only National Invitational (seventh, 19:08.10).

2014-15 Track: Ran a limited schedule during track season… opened her indoor campaign with a fifth-place, 5:35.97 mile run at the MT Christmas Invitational… finished eighth in the 800m at the Thundering Herd Invite thanks to a 2:18.18 run… ran only three times during outdoor season, most notably earning a seventh-place finish at the Memphis Invitational (2:20.05).

2014 Cross Country: Led the Lady Govs on three occasions… earned consecutive top-10 finishes at the JSU Foothills Invitational (7th, 18:56.76) and the UE Cross Country Invitational (10th, 19:51.1)… picked up a top-30 finish at the Powerade Invitational (23rd, 12:12.0)… claimed 39th place at the OVC Championships with a time of 18:55.11

2013-14 Track and Field: Freshman provided middle-distance depth… runner-up at the SIU Open in the 800m (2:23.78)… narrowly missed earning points at the OVC Indoor Championships, finishing ninth in the 800m with a personal-best 2:18.11 mark… during outdoor season, was runner-up in the 800m at the Battle of the Cumberland (2:19.25)… earned points in the 800m at the Ole Miss Open (2:22.69, sixth) and Hilltopper Relays (2:19.22, sixth).

2013 Cross Country: Mid-season injury limited her effectiveness, but showed flashes of potential in her freshman year… earned top-20 marks at Powerade Invitational with a 12:10.09 in the two-mile event, good for 12th… season’s lone top-10 came the following week at the Fleet Feet Sports Invitational, where she finished ninth with a 19:28.70… fourth among Lady Govs at the NCAA South Regional with a 23:33.69 mark good for 164th overall.

Prep: Competed for Zach Frank and Katie Tennant at Teays Valley (Ohio) High School… first-team all-league in cross country in 2012… part of Mid-State League 2012 champion squad… school record-holder in the 800m, 4x400m and 4x800m relays… four-time first-team all-league in track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Kelly Jordan… has two sisters (Meghann and Sara) and two brothers (Tim and Kyle)… brother Tim ran track at Otterbein University… born July 22… plans to major in biology.
