2015: Stands two tackles away from 200 for his career after a third consecutive season with 50 or more stops… opened the season with an eight-tackle, 1.5 tackle-for-loss outing against Mercer… credited with five stops at Vanderbilt… had five tackles and shared a tackle for loss against Eastern Illinois… enjoyed season’s best game against Murray State, recording season-high nine tackles that included 2.5 tackles for loss and season’s lone sack… made six tackles against Jacksonville State… earned four tackles in each of the season’s final three games, adding a hurry against Tennessee State.

2014: Governors leading tackler (81 stops) back to anchor the linebacker corps in 2015… also led the team with 7.0 tackles for loss; he shared at least one stop behind the line of scrimmage in each of the Govs last eight games… had 10 stops and two tackles for loss against Eastern Kentucky… followed that with an eight-tackle performance against Mercer that included 1.5 tackles for loss… his 14 tackles (1.5 for loss) against Tennessee State was the most by a Governor in 2014.

2013: Late summer 2013 signee played in 11 games as freshman, playing sparingly in early going before moving into starting lineup for final seven games… finished second on team in tackles with 67 (27 solo), picking up at least one tackle in 10 games… had two season-high 13 tackle games against Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech… had eight tackles with a sack against Murray State… had three games with seven tackles against UT Martin, Tennessee State, and Southeast Missouri… had a fumble recovery at Eastern Kentucky.

High School: Four-year starter for Lavelle Boyd at Western High School… earned all-district honors as senior as well as team’s “Defensive Award”… chosen for Kentucky All-Star and earned West team MVP honors.
