Austin Peay State University Athletics

2014: Multi-tool quarterback appeared in 11 games, throwing for 420 yards on 53.1 percent (43-for-81) passing… also the Govs fourth-leading rusher with 119 yards on 60 carries… was 15-for-20 for 124 yards through the air in the home opener against Chattanooga… was 3-for-4 for 32 yards through the air and added 30 yards on six carries against Eastern Kentucky.

Previously: Practiced as scout team quarterback with the Chippewas before transferring to APSU… after transferring to Hales Franciscan for senior year never was able to gain eligibility… three-year starter at quarterback for Fengler Academy… three-time all-conference and all-city selection… earned all-state honors after junior season, leading Fenger Academy to a conference championship and to the second round state and semifinals of city playoffs.

Personal: Special education major with professional education minor… on of Beverly and Clifford Boone Sr.… born Nov. 16… brother Chris played football at Western Illinois (2008-12).
