2015: Tallied nine starts and wound up tied for the team lead with 68 total tackles… made first career start at Vanderbilt and rewarded that faith with seven tackles… made 10 tackles (0.5 for loss) at Eastern Kentucky the following week… made eight stops at Murray State and nine against Jacksonville State… recorded career-high 12 stops, including 2.5 for loss and his first career sack, in the home finale against Southeast Missouri… finished the regular season with a nine-tackle effort at Tennessee Tech. 2014: After lining up mostly on special teams as a freshman, converted into tight end last season – but is heading to the defensive side of the ball after lining up as a safety in the spring… had three catches for 12 yards in 2014… caught passes against Memphis, Illinois State and Murray State.
2013: Played in all 12 games for the Govs in 2013, mostly on special teams… had one tackle against Tennessee...shifted to receiver in fall.
High School: Played linebacker, running back and wide receiver as senior for David Barger at Lake County High School… on defense, tallied 62 solo stops and 28 assists, including 28 for loss… also had two fumble recoveries and one interception… on offense, carried the ball 124 times for 1,262 yards and 22 TDs… also caught 15 passes for 226 yards… also averaged 41.5 yards per punt returning, including 2 TDs… chosen first-team All-State as athlete… named first-team all-district as linebacker.
