Biography

2014: Imposing force in the middle of the defensive line, recorded 27 tackles (4.5 for loss) as a freshman… had four tackles (one for loss) in first collegiate outing at Memphis… recorded first career sack and added four tackles at Eastern Illinois… had four stops and shared a sack against Murray State.

High School: Credited with 66 tackles as senior, including 14 sacks, for Flint Southwestern Academy… also forced two fumbles and recovering another… voted Detroit Free Press All-State as well as all-city by The Flint Journal… selected All-Saginaw Valley.

Personal: Physics major… son of Zepora Richardson and Darryl Matiére… born April 24...pronounced “mah-tee-aa bay”
