2014: The Governors leader in receiving yards (314) as a freshman… also hauled in two touchdown receptions, second on the team… hauled in a reception in each of his four games… broke out with a three-catch, 50-yard game at UT Martin, including a 43-yard touchdown catch… his last game as a freshman also was his best, as he torched Tennessee Tech’s secondary for six catches and 141 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown reception.

High School: Enrolled in school in January and participated in Spring 2014 practice… as prep senior at Clay High School caught 47 passes for 655 yards after hauling in 55 catches for 955 yards as junior… first-team Northern Indiana Conference as senior after earning second-team as junior… earned All-NIC in track for 100m and 4x100m relay.

Personal: Business management major… son of Monice Thomas and Byron Johnson… born June 4… mother played basketball at Wayne State (1979-81).
