2018 (Senior): Anchored the right interior of the offensive line, starting all 11 games at guard and bringing his career starts total to 32… earned his first All-OVC recognition in his final season… helped plow the road for the top rushing attack in the OVC that averaged 237.5 yards per game… helped the Govs set program offensive records in yards per game, touchdowns, points, points per game, yards per play and yards per rush.
2017 (Junior): Suited up in all 12 contests in 2017, recording five starts at right guard... an important piece of the offensive line that helped pave the way for the nation’s sixth-best rushing attack and the highest-scoring offense in program history.
2016 (Sophomore): Although just a sophomore, became one of the mainstays along the offensive front… started nine games in 10 appearances, against Troy, Tennessee Tech, Murray State, UT Martin, Mercer, Southeast Missouri, Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky… aided an offense that gained more than 4,000 yards total offense for just the second time in school history.
2015 (Freshman): A stalwart at right guard after enrolling early and proving himself during spring ball… started all 11 games at right guard, the only lineman other than Tyler Miles to start each contest and the only one to man the same position each game.
High School: Joined the team in mid-year and earned a long look among the offensive linemen in spring practice… came to APSU from Midwest Prep Academy in Chicago… offensive tackle for Mike Riazzi at Melbourne Central… earned first-team All-State as senior after earning second-team honors in 2013…also two-year all-conference selection.
Personal: Son of Charlie and Lori Self… born July 1… majoring in business.
