AD’s Honor Roll (S18, F18)
2018 (Senior): Played in all 11 games as a senior, with starts against Presbyterian (Sept. 8) and Morehead State (Sept. 15)… finished 10th on the team with 27 total tackles… recorded a season-high six tackles (4 solo) against Presbyterian… had five total stops at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 10).
2017 (Junior): Appeared in eight games, including starts against Miami University (Sept. 9) and UT Martin (Sept. 30)... finished with 23 total tackles on the season, including a high of eight tackles against UT Martin... recorded five total tackles against Jacksonville State (Oct. 7)... registered four tackles, all unassisted, at Tennessee State (Oct. 14).
2016 (Sophomore): Although limited to just nine appearances, tallied 65 tackles as his role expanded as a sophomore… broke out in the opener with seven tackles (five unassisted) at Troy, Sept. 3… notched first of four double-digit tackle efforts against Murray State, Oct. 1, making 12 stops and forcing a fumble… made 10 tackles at Jacksonville State, Oct. 15, and two weeks later at Southeast Missouri… broke up a pass and made 11 tackles in his season’s final appearance against Eastern Kentucky, Nov. 12, his fourth and final double-digit tackle performance of the season.
2015 (Freshman): Reserve safety primed for a bigger role in 2016 after recording 17 tackles in 11 games as a freshman… made his mark early with three tackles and an interception at Vanderbilt… season-best four tackles at Eastern Kentucky… had two tackles against Southern Miss, Eastern Illinois, Jacksonville State and Southeast Missouri.
High School: Played safety for Blake Butler at Trinity Christian Academy… garnered all-state, all-district and first-team All-West Tennessee honors as a senior.
Personal: Son of James and Delora Bond… one of five children… born Feb. 25… plans to major in physical therapy.
