Austin Peay State University Athletics

2015-16 Track: Ran middle distances to begin indoor season but started to appear in shorter races as the season went on… posted a personal-best 2:32.89 in the 800m at the Ed Temple Invitational, finishing 10^th… closed out her indoor campaign with a personal-best 1:00.19 in the 400m dash at the Music City Challenge… shifted to outdoor season and had back-to-back eighth-place finishes in the 400m at the APSU Invitational (personal-best 1:00.48) and Missouri State Invitational (1:00.85)… also had a personal-best 25.84 in the 200m dash at Missouri State.

2015 Cross Country: Lone freshman for the 2015 squad got better each race… season-best 26^th-place finish came at the APSU Cross Country Festival, where she posted a 24:31 mark… personal-best 23:15.40 mark at the Cross Country-Only National Invitational earned her a 41^st-place finish.

Prior to Austin Peay: Decorated athlete at Vincennes University under Chris Gafner… was a national qualifier in the 200m and 400m dashes in 2015; also ran the distance medley relay for the fourth-place finishers at the 2015 NJCAA Championships… All-American DMR runner in 2014 and part of the NJCAA Half-Marathon runners-up in 2013… was a six-time conference champion as a prep at Jean Francois Rivet High School, repeating in the 400m (2012 and 2013) and winning three straight 4x400m relay championships (2011-13)… 400m sectional champion and state qualifier in 2013, she holds the 200m and 400m school records.

Personal: Daughter of Doug and Terri Wise… has one brother, Gerard… mother ran track at Vincennes from 1980-83 and was Hanna’s coach at Jean Francois Rivet High School… born Feb. 20… a biology major, she plans to attend medical school and become an Army doctor.
