As a junior: Racked up 39 tackles as he emerged as a sure-footed stopper in several defensive packages… made seven stops (five solo) in the season opener at Troy, Sept. 3… was held to one tackle in the Sept. 10 home opener against Tennessee Tech, but forced a fumble and broke up a pass… made a career-best 11 tackles, including one for loss, at Eastern Illinois, Sept. 24… followed that up the next week with seven tackles and one for loss against Murray State… two tackles, including a shared stop for loss, and a pass break-up against Mercer, Oct. 22.
As a sophomore: Cornerback continued to provide solid snaps for the Govs, posting 15 total tackles… posted a career-best five tackles (all solo) at Southern Miss… had multiple stops against Vanderbilt and Eastern Kentucky… all over the field against Jacksonville State, recording three tackles (one TFL) and forcing a fumble.
As a freshman: Made a dozen tackles (eight solo) operating mostly out of special teams as a freshman… made three solo stops at UT Martin… assisted on a career-best four tackles at Southeast Missouri.
High School: Played wide receiver, running back and defensive back at Father Ryan… as senior rushed 294 yards and three TDs and caught 18 passes as senior for 247 yards and one TD… caught 32 career passes, averaging 12.1 yards… on defense was credited with 63 tackles over his final two seasons, including an interception as senior… averaged 10.8 yards per punt return on 18 attempts.
