Athletics Director's Honor Roll (S20)
2019 (Senior): Made 43 total tackles, appearing in all 15 games in his final season… also broke up a pass against North Carolina Central (Aug. 29), and then again two weeks later at Mercer (Sept. 14)… picked off a pass and ran it back 35 yards against Southeast Missouri (Oct. 12)… had a tackle for loss as part of his day at Tennessee State (Oct. 19)… posted season-high eight tackles at Tennessee Tech (Oct. 26)… picked off one pass and broke up another at Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 2), while also contributing five tackles… six tackles, including one for loss, on Senior Day against Eastern Illinois (Nov. 23)… appeared in all three FCS Playoff contests, with six total tackles including stops behind the line against Furman (Nov. 30) and Montana State (Dec. 14).
2018 (Junior): Appeared in all 11 games with nine starts at cornerback… capped his season with a 71-yard pick-six against Murray State (Nov. 17)… became the first Gov to return an interception for a touchdown since Gunnar Scholato in 2016, and his return was the fourth-longest play of the season for the Govs… finished second on the Govs with seven pass break ups and nine passes defended… had an interception and 15-yard return at UT Martin (Sept. 22)… finished seventh on the Govs with 34 total tackles, including a career-high 10 stops against Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 3)… had two pass break ups against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 27) and Murray State.
2017 (Sophomore): Suited up in all 12 games and recorded four starts… racked up 25 total tackles, an interception and four passes broken up on the season… notched four total tackles in three-straight games early in the season… recorded four tackles and an interception against Morehead State (Sept. 16)… had four tackles and two passes broken up at Murray State (Sept. 23).
2016 (Freshman): Earned respect across the league for a solid freshman performance… recorded 56 tackles in 11 games, including six games with five or more tackles… broke up eight total passes, including two against Tennessee State (Nov. 5) and Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 12)… debuted with nine solo stops at Troy, Sept. 3… made eight tackles and broke up a pass at Eastern Illinois, Sept. 24… credited with eight tackles at Southeast Missouri, Oct. 29, and backed it with seven in the Nov. 12 contest at Eastern Kentucky.
High School: Leader for Division II-AA East/Middle State Champion Brentwood Academy in 2015… 2014 TSWA All-State selection at cornerback… 2015 preseason All-State selection.
Personal: Born Jan. 23… majoring in accounting.
