2021 (Graduate Student): Played in nine games, making three starts at tight end during the 2021 season.
2020-2021 (Senior): Made a pair of starts on the offensive line against Central Arkansas (Aug. 29) and Pittsburgh (Sept. 12) during the abbreviated fall schedule.
2019 (Junior): Played in all 15 games, ending year with four receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown… His lone touchdown catch was the Govs first-ever postseason touchdown scored, on a 1-yard pass play from JaVaughn Craig in NCAA FCS Playoff game against Furman, Nov. 30… Also had receptions against North Carolina Central, Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech.
2018 (Sophomore): Played in all 11 contests and was a regular in the starting lineup, with nine starts on the year… led all tight ends with six receptions for 24 yards… had two catches for 15 yards against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 27)… also had two receptions at Morehead State (Sept. 15)… key blocker for the OVC’s leading rushing attack that averaged 237.5 yards per game… had a touchdown reception against Southeast Missouri overturned due to a questionable penalty call away from the play.
2017 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, including starts against Tennessee Tech (Nov. 4) and Eastern Illinois (Nov. 18)… caught four passes for 31 yards on the season… made a season-high two receptions for 15 yards at Murray State (Sept. 23).
High School: Helped lead Morristown-Hamblen West to a 10-3 record and a 6-0 record in-district record his senior year… Played both outside linebacker and tight end… Caught seven passes for 114 yards and two TDs during his senior season… Collected 136 career tackles, including 29 tackles for a loss… Was named defensive player of the year and an all-region performer… Also played basketball.
Personal: Elijah David Brown is the son of Julie and David Brown… Birthday is August 30… has a sister, Molly… Earned his bachelor’s degree in applied exercise science in Dec. 2020… Pursuing a master’s degree in secondary education at Austin Peay.
