Biography

Academic Honors: OVC Medal of Honor (2016-17, 2017-18); OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll (2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18); Dean's List (S18, F17, S17, F16, S16, F15); WGCA All-American Scholar (2016, 2017, 2018)

As a junior in 2017-18: Third Austin Peay campaign yielded seven top-20 finishes among her 12 starts… opened the season with a 13th-place finish at the NKU Fall Classic, shooting 233 (74-78-81)… opened the Cardinal Classic with a season-low 73… shot 231 (74-78-79) at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate to post a season-best eighth place finish… closed the fall with four straight top-20 finishes, beginning with the home tournament and continuing at the Fred Marx Invitational (195h, 79-79-81—239), Winthrop Intercollegiate (17th, 77-79—156) and Town and Country Invitational (12th, 79-73—152)… after scuffling during the early part of spring, righted the ship over her final two events, finishing 20th at the Murray State Invitational (76-75—151) and 17th at the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Women’s Golf Championships (84-76-75—235).

As a sophomore in 2016-17: All-OVC selection as a sophomore… posted APSU’s lowest average score in all three rounds (77.1/76.3/76.0), as well as its two rounds below par… kicked off the season with a ninth-place showing at the Drake Creek Invitational (76-74-73-223)… posted the first of two under-par rounds at the MVC Preview, opening with a 71 on the way to an 11th-place finish (71-76-76-223)… was Austin Peay’s top finisher in the Govs first four tournaments, including a runner-up showing at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (76-73-149), which earned her OVC co-Female Golfer of the Week honors… placed 10th in the season’s penultimate event, the Jan Weaver Invitational, with a 231 (77-78-76)… closed sophomore campaign with a ninth-place, 223 finish at the OVC Championships (79-71-73).

As a freshman in 2015-16: Freshman standout was named to the OVC All-Newcomer team, the first Governor to earn that distinction since Jessica Cathey (2013)… her first (77.7) and third (77.7) round averages were second on the team behind only Cathey… was APSU’s top finisher twice as a freshman, including her first fall tournament appearance at the Golfweek Challenge; she was the only Gov to post three rounds in the 70s (74-76-78-228) and finished 32nd overall… placed third as an individual at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate, shooting a 152 (75-77)… again led the Govs at the UAB Beach Bash, shooting a 36-hole best 149 (75-74) to tie for 18th… earned a tie for 13th at the Bobby Nichols Invitational with a 241 (80-80-81)… was 16th at the Colonel Classic with a 235 (75-81-79)… earned her season’s final top-10 at the Jan Weaver Invitational, tying for eighth with a 236 (79-82-75)… earned a tie for 24th in her first OVC Championship appearance, shooting a 236 (81-79-76).

Prior to APSU: Teamed with twin sister Ashton to lead Eldorado High School to Illinois Class 1A runner-up in Fall 2014…three-time Class 1A All-State golf selection…shared Southern Illinoisan co-Golfer of the Year honor with sister… in 2014 state competition, tied for third, shooting 8-over 152…in three state tournament appearances finished 10th, 6th and 3rd…shot a 4-under career-best 67 to capture medalist honors at West Frankfort…was three-time regional champion while collecting conference and sectionals once…averaged 35 for nine holes and 72 for 18 during Fall 2014…finished first one spot ahead of Ashton in the 2014 Western Kentucky Golf Showcase...2011 “Big I” Illinois State champion…also was all-conference basketball player.

Personal: Business major…daughter of Greg and Robin Goodley…father served as high school golf coach…two-year member of National Honor Society and chosen to Southern Illinoisan All-Academic team.
