2017-18: A quality addition to the Governors distance lineup… became more heavily involved in indoor season after Christmas break and picked up steam late, setting personal indoor bests in the 3000m (Don DeNoon Invitational, 10:58.04) and mile (Buckeye Tune-Up, 5:31.29) in back-to-back weeks… opened outdoor season with a win in the 1500m run (5:07.95) and runner-up in the 3000m steeple (11:52.77) at the Coastal Carolina Invitational… found a place to thrive in the steeplechase, winning the event at the APSU Invitational (11:45.9), setting a personal-best the following week at Georgia Tech (11:29.32) and earning points in the season’s final event at the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships (11:33.60, eighth).

- Placed second in every race for the Govs
- Recorded two top-10 overall finishes (APSU Invitational 5k, 9th, 19:01.1; Evansville Invitational 5k, 6th, 19:51.1)
- One of three Govs runners to compete in the NCAA South Regional
