Athletics Director’s Honor Roll (F17, F18, S19, F19, S20)
2019 (Junior): Played in all 15 games, once again handling kickoff duties… kicked off 83 times, averaging 53.9 yards with 17 touchbacks… racked up 4,473 kickoff yards on the season… made a tackle against Tennessee State (Oct. 19).
2018 (Sophomore): Handled the kickoff duties for the first six games of the season before being sidelined with an injury… kicked off 35 times, averaging 53.5 yards with three touchbacks… made his first career tackle at Georgia (Sept. 1) and picked up another stop against Tennessee State (Oct. 6).
2017 (Freshman): Kicked field goals in two games during the 2017 campaign... nailed a 42-yard attempt at Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 11)... hit a 37-yard attempt at Miami University (Sept. 9).
Prior to Austin Peay: Nailed 20 field goals for Steve Devoursney at Cairo High School... region special teams Player of the Year as a senior... earned every accolade imaginable during his prep days: Parade All-American, MaxPreps All-American, All-State and All-Area... accomplished soccer player was Georgia 4-AAAA Player of the Year.
Personal: Son of Brett and Susan Phillips... father played football at West Georgia... has two sisters, Clare and Emalee... born March 10... majoring in criminal justice.
