Biography

2019-20: Made four appearances in the middle distances as a sophomore… opened season with a personal-best 6:02.42 mark in the mile at the Saluki Fast Start, placing fourth; also took seventh in the 800m at Carbondale with a 2:41.83 run… fifth in the 800m at the Ed Temple Classic at 2:38.09… personal-best 2:32.99 in the 800m run at the Thundering Herd Invitational.

2019 Cross Country: Competed twice, at the Belmont Opener (23:09.9 in the 3.1 mile event) and the John Flamer Invite (22:26.1 in the 5-kilometer).

2018-19 Track and Field: Did more middle distance work and carved a niche for herself as a freshman… season-best 2:35.31 in the 800m at the Thundering Herd Invitational… had a pair of top-eight finishes in the 600m at the Saluki Fast Start (eight) and Fred Wilt Open (seventh)… did some 4x400m relay work during outdoor season, helping her quartet to finishes of ninth (Coastal Carolina Invitational), sixth (Hilltopper Relays) and fourth (APSU Invitational)… personal-best 1:18.16 in the 400m hurdles placed her ninth in her first home meet.

Prior to Austin Peay: Captain of her XC and track team at Hancock County High School...Personal best in the 5k was 20:49... All State runner her freshman and sophomore year... State runner up and multiple regional championships.

Personal: Daughter of Angela and Matt Nicholas...Has one sibling, Cayden... born Nov. 10... Majoring in sports marketing.
