As a senior in 2021-22:
Spring Season
- Posted career-bests in singles and doubles wins with six and eight, respectively, both tying for team-best marks.
- Played most of the season at the No. 3 singles position, where he picked up five victories.
- Spent most of the season at the No. 1 doubles position where he and teammate Frederic Schlossmann led all Austin Peay pairings with eight wins, including a 3-0 mark in OVC play.
- Tied for a conference-best three OVC Doubles Team of the Week awards.
- Named the fifth All-OVC Doubles Team in program history alongside teammate Frederic Schlossmann – the first since Walter Dolhare and Anders Sundquist in 1987.
- Received his first-career OVC Player of the Week honor, Feb. 15, after winning back-to-back singles matches against Cumberland (Feb. 11) and Oakland City (Feb. 12). Both victories came in straight-sets.
- Won three-straight singles matches from Feb. 11 to Feb. 18.
- Won five-straight doubles matches alongside Schlossmann from March 26 to April 22.
- Finished his Austin Peay career with 24 singles and 35 doubles victories.
Fall Season
- Played doubles exclusively with Frederic Schlossmann, picking up a pair of doubles victories through three fall tournaments.
- Defeated Northern Kentucky’s Jorge Rodriguez and Brandon Ponomarew, 8-4, in the Consolation Doubles Round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regionals.
- Picked up second doubles win of the fall in an extended, 7-6 (10-4) victory against Southern Indiana’s Preston Cameron and Spencer Blandford at the APSU Hidden Duel.
As a junior in 2020-21:
Spring Season
- Picked up a team-best four singles victories while playing in the No. 3 and No. 4 positions.
- Won a team-high three doubles matches while playing exclusively with Frederic Schlossmann at the No. 1 position.
- Had a perfect outing against Eastern Illinois in the home finale, picking up a three-set singles victory against Charles Courteau and a 6-2 victory against the Panthers’ Wallace and Kyrillou in doubles.
As a sophomore in 2019-20:
Spring Season
- Won a team-best six doubles matches in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, and added five singles wins in the No. 1 and 2 positions.
- Went on a four-match singles winning from Feb. 14 to Feb. 28 while playing on the No. 2 line.
- Won five-straight doubles matches with Julius Gold, and the duo won five of their final six matches to close out the shortened spring season.
- Led the Governors with 13 doubles wins during the 2019-20 season.
Fall Season
- Won four singles matches and a team-best seven doubles matches in the fall.
- Won six of his doubles matches when paired with Julius Gold, and the duo advanced to the doubles finals of the Louisville Fall Invitational.
- Posted back-to-back singles wins at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional after dropping his opening match.
As a freshman in 2018-19:
Spring Season
- Collected seven doubles wins while playing at the No. 1 spot, most on the team, and six singles wins, tied for third on the team.
- Had a mid-season stretch where he went 4-1 in singles, winning all in straight sets at the No. 3 spot.
- Defeated Belmont’s Zak Khan in the regular-season finale, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
Fall Season
- Went 4-3 in doubles while teaming with Almantas Ozelis.
- The duo advanced to the final of the Louisville Invitational Flight A Doubles Draw.
Prior to Austin Peay
Won an outdoor regional doubles title in his under-16 age group in 2015… In 2016 he won an outdoor regional singles title for seniors… Won a regional title in the senior doubles group in 2017… Most recently he won an outdoor regional title in Sweden for his age group… Was ranked No. 26 in the Swedish U-18 boy’s rankings and No. 228 in the Men’s National Swedish Rankings.

Son of Peter and Eva Damberg… has one sibling, Sanna… born Feb.. 9... a Healthcare Management major.
