2021 Season (Junior)
- Played with four different partners in the first five matches of the season before pairing up with Marlayana Bullington in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the final 12 matches of the season.
- Went 7-4 while playing alongside Bullington as the duo earned Second Team All-OVC honors.
- Posted a 2-1 mark in the OVC Tournament while partnered with Bullington in the No. 1 position for all four postseason matches.
2020 Season (Sohpomore)
- Did not see action during the shortened 2020 season.
2019 Season (Freshman)
- Saw action in three matches and played in the Govs' extra pairing five times.
- Twice played at No. 5 with MiMi Arrington and moved up to No. 4 pair with Karli Graham at Morehead State, March 30.
Career Recap: Walled Lake Central HS
- Named to all-conference and all-county team as a senior and was a two-year team captain for head coach Sarah Schmidt
- Helped lead Walled Lake Central to district championships in 2017 and 2018
- Also spearheaded runs to the KLAA Conference title in 2017 and a Lakes Conference tournament crown in 2018
- Was a member of the Legacy Volleyball Elite program, which placed ninth at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals in 2017.
Personal
- Aysha Allanah Sylvia Hood is the daughter of Dr. Aretha and Roger Hood.
- Born Feb. 12.
- Has an older brother, Roger, who played basketball at Kalamazoo College.
- Majoring in Applied Exercise Science.
