As a sophomore in 2021-22:
Spring Season
- Tied for a team-best six singles and eight doubles victories.Â
- Played exclusively the No. 1 singles position and all but one match on the No. 1 doubles court alongside Anton Damberg.
- Led all Austin Peay pairings with eight doubles victories with Damberg.
- Tied for a conference-best three OVC Doubles Team of the Week awards.
- Won three of four singles matches from Feb. 11 to March 17, with each victory coming in straight sets.
- Opened conference play with a pair of straight-set victories, including a 6-4, 7-5 victory against Belmont’s Arthur Toledo – a first Team All-OVC selection.
- Received his second-career OVC Player of the Week honor, Feb. 12.
- Became the first Governor named First Team All-OVC since Almantas Ozelis in 2019 and the first player named All-OVC in each of his first two seasons since Ozelis in 2016-17.
- Named the fifth All-OVC Doubles Team in program history with teammate Damberg and first since Walter Dolhare and Anders Sundquist in 1987.
- Holds the program-record for most weekly conference awards with five.
Fall Season
- Tied for a team-best four singles victories and three doubles victories in three fall tournaments.
- Won all three singles matches at the APSU Hidden Duel in straight sets.Â
- Defeated Chattanooga’s Tomas Rodriguez at the UTC – Steve Baras Invitational to claim fourth singles victory of the fall.
- Played doubles exclusively alongside Anton Damberg, defeating Northern Kentucky’s Jorge Rodriguez and Brandon Ponomarew, 8-4, in the Consolation Doubles Round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regionals.Â
As a freshman in 2020-21:
Spring Season
- Won twice in the No. 1 position and twice in the No. 2 position en route to a team-best four singles victories.
- Bounced back from a slow start to go on a season-long three-match winning streak from March 9 to 20.
- Picked up OVC Player of the Week honors, April 14, after beating Eastern Illinois’ Daniel Hernandez in three-sets in the No. 1 singles match.
- Became the first Austin Peay freshman to win OVC Player of the Week since Almantas Ozelis on April 12, 2016.
- Partnered with Anton Damberg in the No. 1 doubles position to win a team-best three matches.
Prior to Austin Peay
Prepped at Werner-von-Siemens Gymnasium… helped his team win a Bavarian and German Championship… was on the runner-up doubles team at the German Championship.
