2020-21: Appeared in three events in her final season as a Gov… placed fifth in the long jump (5.58 meters) at her season debut at the Margaret Simmons Invitational… posted third-place finishes in the long jump (5.59 meters) and triple jump (11.63 meters) at the Hilltopper Relays, while also taking sixth in the 200-meter dash (24.86)… in her final appearance as a Gov, took runner-up in the triple jump (12.02 meters) and third in the long jump (5.77 meters) at the Kentucky Open. Â
2019-20: Outstanding season culminated in a long-triple gold sweep at the OVC Championships… came back from break and won the triple jump at the Ed Temple Classic with a 12.25m mark; also runner-up in the long jump (5.76m) in Nashville, helping her earn OVC Field Athlete of the Week honors… fourth in the long jump (5.33m), third in the triple (11.35m) and posted a personal-best 1.46m in the high jump at the Thundering Herd Invitational… became the first OVC student-athlete to sweep the long and triple jump at the OVC Indoor Championships since 2017, winning the long jump first (5.95m), followed by the triple (11.76m) the following day.
2018-19: Proved that when healthy, as good as any jumper in the Ohio Valley Conference… took 10th in the long jump and eighth in the 60m dash at the Saluki Fast Start… fifth in 200m at the Ed Temple Invitational… first big leap was an 11.37m triple jump to net runner-up honors at the Vulcan Invitational… took third in her next attempt at the triple at the Fred Wilt Open… fifth in the 200m and seventh in the long jump at the Thundering Herd Invitational… just missed grabbing points at the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships, taking ninth in the long jump… won the long (5.71m) and triple (11.98m) to open outdoor competition at the Coastal Carolina Invitational… runner-up in the triple at the Hilltopper Relays, coupled with a seventh-place showing in the long jump and 10th in the 100m dash… trio of top-five finishes at the APSU Invitational, including a win in the triple jump (12.15m), runner-up in the long jump (5.75m) and fifth in the 100m dash (12.41)… took gold in the long jump at the 2019 OVC Outdoor Championships thanks to a personal-best 6.01m mark and also found her way to the podium with bronze in the triple, aided by an outdoor-best 12.23m leap.
2017-18: Missed indoor campaign as she was rehabbing a previous injury but bounced back strong during outdoor season… showed no signs of rust in her opening meet, leaping a personal-best 12.42m to take runner-up honors at the Coastal Carolina Invitational… fourth in the long jump (5.52m) at the APSU Invitational and also turned in a personal-best 24.97 mark in the 200m dash, finishing eighth… took fifth with a personal-best 12.07 in the 100m event at the Memphis Tiger Invitational… placed eighth to secure points with an 11.91m leap at the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships and added a personal-best (5.57m) long jump mark.
2016-17: 2017 OVC Indoor Freshman of the Year has a bright future… made her mark across the conference in a host of disciplines, ranking in the OVC's top-10 in the 200m dash (10th), long jump (eighth) and triple jump (fifth), in addition to helping Austin Peay to a fourth-ranked position in the 4x400m relay… debuted with a 12.25m triple jump mark, earning runner-up honors at the Vanderbilt Opener… picked up her first career triple jump victory in the Governors first post-Christmas meet at Purdue's Gene Edmonds Open (11.96m)… picked up a point in the long jump at the OVC Indoor Championships, placing eighth in the triple jump with an 11.87m leap… unfortunately, injury robbed her of her inaugural outdoor season.
Prior to Austin Peay: Competed for Austin Peay Athletics Hall of Famer Joanne Arnold (Tribue) at Cane Ridge High School… decorated multi-sport athlete was a two-time TSSAA Class AAA champion in the triple jump (2015-16) who enters college with a personal-best (12.26m) that would already put her near the top of the conference… 2016 Tennessean Middle Tennessee High School Athlete Award winner… also fourth place in the 200m at the 2015 TSSAA State Championships… MVP of the 2016 Nashville Track and Field Championships, breaking the meet triple jump record.
Personal: Daughter of Mikaela Perry-Grimes and Reginald Grimes… has two siblings, Reggie and Reghan… born June 12… majoring in occupational therapy.
