2021 (Graduate Student): Saw action in 6 games during the 2021 season... made a catch for six yards in the season finale against Tennessee Tech (Nov. 20).
2020-2021 (Redshirt Senior): Played in two games, tallying 15 yards on a pair of catches… Caught a pass against No. 13 Cincinnati (Sept. 19)... Hauled in a 14-yard reception against No. 7 Jacksonville State (March 28).
2019 (Senior): Saw action in seven games and carried the ball eight times in the season’s final two games… Rushed three times for 12 yards against at Murray State, Nov. 16… Picked up six yards on five carries against Eastern Illinois, Nov. 23… Also returned a kick at Tennessee State.
High School: Played both ways in 23 career games at Smyrna High School… rushed for 194 yards and a touchdown during his career… also registered 28 total tackles and a forced fumble.
Personal: Armond Elliott Carter Jr. is the son of Ytoka Rucker… Birthday is July 6… Has three siblings: Chris, Jordan and Xavier… His brother, Xavier, plays basketball at Dyersburg CC… Earned his bachelor’s degree in management (health minor) in May 2020… Pursuing a master’s degree in performance enhancement and coaching at Austin Peay.
