2023: Played in three games and made two starts at running back before suffering a season-ending injury against ETSU (Sept. 16)… Had eight carries for 30 yards and a six-yard touchdown run in the season opener at Southern Illinois (Sept. 2)… Carried the ball seven times for 21 yards and had three receptions for 31 yards at Tennessee (Sept. 9)… Recorded season highs with 14 carries for 102 yards, including a season-long 48-yard run on the first play from scrimmage, against ETSU… Finished the season with 29 carries for 153 yards and a touchdown in addition to four receptions for 29 yards.
2022: Played in all 11 games and made nine starts at running back… Carried the ball 15 times for a career-high 104 yards – his first 100-yard rushing performance – and two touchdowns – his first multi-score game since 2020 – against Presbyterian (Sept. 3)… Had a career-high 18 carries for 76 yards at Alabama A&M (Sept. 17)… Ran for 75 yards on 17 carries and posted season-highs with two receptions for 28 yards against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 24)… Carried the ball seven times for 89 yards and two touchdowns – including a 62-yard score, which was the longest rush by a Governor in 2022 – against Murray State (Oct. 15)… Had 12 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville State (Oct. 29) and 15 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown at North Alabama (Nov. 5) to cap off a streak of three-straight games with a rushing touchdown… Posted his team-leading seventh double-digit carry outing with 14 carries for 51 yards at Alabama (Nov. 19)… Led the Governors in carries (133), rushing yards (641), and rushing yards per game (58.3)… His six rushing touchdowns led APSU running backs and ranked second on the team… Ranked fifth in the ASUN in carries, sixth in rushing yards, seventh in rushing yards per game, and 10th in rushing touchdowns.
2021: Played in all 11 games, making four starts at the “Govs Back” position… Enjoyed his best outing on the season’s biggest stage at Ole Miss (Sept. 11) with seven rushes for 74 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter to finish with a 105-yard all-purpose performance… Rushed for 42 yards on eight carries against Morehead State (Sept 18)… Recorded a career-high 74 receiving yards on six catches against Eastern Illinois (Nov. 6) including a 33-yard score late in the second quarter against the Panthers… Finished third on the team in rushing yards (150), fourth in receptions (30), fifth in receiving yards (242), and sixth in all-purpose yards (406).
2020-2021: Led the team with 628 all-purpose yards and tied for a team-high five touchdowns across nine appearances during his freshman campaign… Took the college football world by storm after a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff game against Central Arkansas (Aug. 30)... Rushed for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns against No. 13 Cincinnati (Sept. 19), including a 64-yard score midway through the fourth quarter – earning STATS Perform Co-FCS Player of the Week... Was a threat both on the ground and as a pass-catcher during the spring, totaling 175 rushing and 182 receiving yards across the six-game schedule... Racked up 124 all-purpose yards and caught his career’s first touchdown pass in the Govs’ 34-31 win over No. 13 Murray State (April 3)… Finished second on the team in rushing with 365 yards, second in kick return yards with 62, and fifth in receiving with 201 yards.
High School: A running back for head coach Earnest Hill, helped McGill-Toolen Catholic High School win Class 7A Region 1 title and reach second round of state playoffs in 2019… An Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A All-State selection as a senior… Selected to play in 2019 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game… A three-star rated athlete by 247Sports.com.
