2021 (Redshirt Junior): Played in 10 games during his second season at Austin Peay… Continued to put out strong performances against Tennessee State with seven rushes for 73 yards and a 66-yard touchdown in first game against the Tigers (Oct. 2) and added 32 yards on two kick returns… Had season’s best outing at Murray State (Oct. 23) with 15 carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns… Enjoyed season’s second multi-score outing against Eastern Illinois with 104 total yards on 18 touches and two rushing touchdowns... Finished the season with 494 rushing yards on 92 carries and five touchdowns, adding 80 yards on kick returns and 16 receiving yards.

2020-2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in seven games during his first season in Clarksville... Led the OVC in rushing during the spring with 434 yards on the ground, finding the end zone four times... Ran for 186 yards and a trio of touchdowns on his first three carries against Tennessee State (Feb. 28) and set the FCS single-quarter record with 204 rushing yards in the first 15 minutes of the contest… Finished the TSU game with 227 yards – the third-best single-game rushing mark in program history – and earned FCS National Offensive Player of the Week honors, becoming the first Governor to earn a STATS national weekly award since 2017 (Devin Stuart, Kyran Moore), also named OVC Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Week... Started a 138-yard performance against Southeast Missouri (March 14) by finding the endzone on his first carry for the second-straight game.

Prior to Austin Peay: Saw action in eight games at Iowa Western, finishing with 364 yards and eight touchdowns on 92 carries… Had 100-yard rushing performances against Coffeyville (106 yards, TD) and at Fort Scott (112 yards, 2 TD)… began career at Ohio State, where he played two games as a freshman, finishing with 11 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown.

High School: Was a consensus four-star prospect for head coach Evan Davis at Armwood High School… was the country’s No. 66 overall prospect according to Rivals and No. 80 overall prospect by 247Sports… 247Sports’ No. 4 running back and No. 17 player in Florida… rushed for 1,378 yards and 16 touchdowns in 15 games during his senior year, leading Armwood (14-1) to the 6A state finals… in three seasons as a starter, ran for 3,506 yards and 48 touchdowns while adding 49 receptions for 569 yards and five TDs… opened his senior season with a 200-yard performance with two touchdowns in a victory over Tampa Bay Tech… chosen to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.

Personal: Brian Chandler Snead is the son of Hollis Simmons and Brian Snead Sr.… Birthday is Aug. 9… Has a brother, Dustin… A leadership and organizational administration major.
