2022: A Phil Steele FCS Third Team All-America, Associated Press Third Team FCS All-America, and All-ASUN Conference selection, he started all 11 games for the Govs at cornerback… Had a pair of tackles and a pair of pass breakups in the season opener at Western Kentucky (Aug. 27)… Made four tackles and broke up a season-best four passes – tied for the second-best single-game mark in APSU history – against Mississippi Valley State (Sept. 10)… Recorded three tackles, a pass breakup, and his first interception as a Governor at Alabama A&M (Sept. 17)… Had a pair of pass breakups in back-to-back games against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 24) and Central Arkansas (Oct. 1) – also made five tackles at UCA… Added five tackles and three pass breakups against Jacksonville State (Oct. 29)… Intercepted a pair of passes against Kennesaw State (Nov. 12), he returned the second pick 45 yards to set up a two-play, 44-yard scoring drive that gave the Govs a three-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter… Had a season-best six tackles at Alabama (Nov. 19), he also posted a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a pass breakup against the Crimson Tide… Led the Govs with 16 pass breakups and was tied for the team lead with three interceptions… His 19 passes defended tied Corey Phillips (2002) for the single-season program record… He also ranked second in the FCS with 1.7 passes defended per game and fourth with 16 pass breakups.
2021: Played in all 11 games, starting two at defensive back… Had four tackles and a pass breakup at Ole Miss (Sept. 11)… Tallied a season-high seven tackles and four solo stops against Morehead State (Sept. 18)… Recorded four tackles and broke up a pass against Tennessee Tech (Nov. 20).
Prior to Austin Peay: Transferred from Youngstown State, where he appeared in 18 games over two seasons… Made a career-high five tackles in his collegiate debut against Samford (Aug. 24, 2019)… Intercepted a pass and tacked on a 25-yard return against Howard (Sept. 7, 2019)… Matched his career-high with five tackles against South Dakota State (Oct. 12, 2019)… Led the Penguins with five pass breakups during his freshman season in 2019… Recorded a pair of tackles at both North Dakota State (Feb. 21, 2021) and Missouri State (April 10, 2021) during his sophomore season.
High School: Played defensive back and running back for coach Dave Dunn at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami… Was named a Miami Herald All-Dade County Class 8A-6A Honorable Mention during his senior season… Helped lead the Explorers to a 14-1 record and a Class 8 State Championship Game appearance in 2018… Rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.
