Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a senior in 2024-25

• Had a 10-14 overall singles record, going 5-11 in the spring and 5-3 in the fall.
• Went 4-5 from the No. 2 spot.
• Went 10-12 in doubles play with a 6-4 record in the fall.
• Had a 3-2 record while playing with Sota Minami and a 3-4 record playing with Tom Bolton.

As a junior in 2023-24

• Went 14-11 overall in singles matches, with a 9-8 spring record and 5-3 fall record.
• Went 1-0 from the No. 1 spot and 8-8 from the No. 2 spot.
• Had a 12-11 overall doubles record, going 7-8 from the No. 2 position, all with partner Tom Bolton.

As a sophomore in 2022-23:

Spring Season

• Won seven singles and tied for a team-best five doubles victories.
• Played most of the season at the No. 2 singles position where he went 6-5 overall and 3-4 in ASUN play.
• After dropping four of his first five singles matches, won three of his next four matches with all three victories coming in straight sets. 
• Earned a straight-set victory from the No. 2 position in Austin Peay’s inaugural ASUN match against Lipscomb, March 25.
• Again earned a singles victory against Lipscomb, April 5.
• Exclusively played alongside Tom Bolton in doubles where the duo earned a team-best five wins during the spring.
• Won three-straight doubles matches Feb. 3-March 2.

As a freshman in 2021-22:

Spring Season

• Won three singles and five doubles matches. 
• Played most of the season at the No. 5 singles position and No. 2 doubles positions, where he won two and four matches, respectively.
• Began the spring with back-to-back straight set victories against Cumberland (Feb. 11) and Oakland City (Feb. 12).
• Tied for the second-most wins among Governors’ pairings with five alongside Tom Bolton. 
• Was named to the OVC Doubles Team of the Week with Bolton, March 29, following victories against the University of the Cumberlands (March 23) and North Alabama (March 26).

Fall Season

• Won one singles and two doubles matches through three fall tournaments. 
• Picked up a decisive 6-0, 6-0 victory over Brescia’s Joao Carvalho at the APSU Hidden Duel.
• Played exclusively with fellow freshman Tom Bolton in doubles, picking up a win against Brescia and Southern Indiana.
