2021 Tailgate Alley Information

  • All season ticket members will have access to purchase a season tailgating pass for the price of $75 per spot.
  • Single game tailgating spots will be made available to all fans to purchase at a price of $20 per spot.
  • Tailgating is also allowed in Lot 6 for season ticket holders, Monocle Society members, and Suite Holders with a valid game day parking pass.
  • You will check in with your e-ticket at the Tailgate Alley entrance of Lot 6. The number printed on your tailgating pass gives you access to the reserved spot as printed on the parking space in the lot. You will have access to the space printed on your tailgating pass and the space to the immediate left.
  • Non-reserved space tailgating is permitted in all parking lots and green areas (without a vehicle) on campus. Fans must allow enough space between tailgates for vehicles to drive through the parking lots. Please do not use an empty parking space to setup your tailgate unless you have a reserved spot in Tailgate Alley.
  • Tailgate Alley officially open 4 hours prior to kickoff for all home games.
  • Vehicles are not permitted to drive through Tailgate Alley during the Gov Walk. Vehicles may continue parking after the GOV Walk.
  • The football team will walk to Fortera Stadium through Tailgate Alley prior to each game, and all fans are encouraged to greet the Austin Peay football team 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
  • Specific to Tailgate Alley: All vehicles must be parked at least one (1) hour prior to kickoff.
  • Tailgate Alley will shut down 30 minutes prior to kickoff and fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at that time.

  • Individuals, groups, and organizations hosting or participating in tailgate parties are responsible for their own conduct and are expected to respect the rights of others and the entire University community.
  • Austin Peay Students will be expected to adhere to the Code of Student Conduct.
  • Parking is restricted to one vehicle per reserved tailgate spot. Parking or driving on campus green spaces or sidewalks is prohibited.
  • Be aware of other fans when driving through the lot. Speed will be monitored by uniformed officers.
  • Tents should be confined to the space allowed for each tailgating area and may be erected on game days only.
  • Observe safe principles of operation of barbeque pits and open-flame cooking. Properly store flammable liquids.
  • The University and the Athletics Department are not responsible for items left unattended.
  • All trash must be placed in appropriate trash receptacles or packed and removed.
  • Disposal of grease, hot coals, or hazardous materials into the ground or storm drains is prohibited. Ash cans will be provided by campus grounds in Tailgate Alley as well as the overflow area - Lot 50.
  • All generators must be equipped with a noise-reducing device (manufacturer-approved cover or muffler). Special care and consideration should be taken when managing fuel and extension cords affiliated with generators.
  • Groups are not allowed to have amplified music.
  • No stakes of any kind will be permitted to anchor tents or inflatables in the tailgating area including paved and grass spaces.
  • Please be respectful to others around you and remember this is a family-friendly environment.
  • At its discretion, the University may terminate or take other appropriate action against individuals, groups, or organizations whose conduct at tailgate parties is irresponsible, unreasonable, or inconsistent with university policies and regulations, ordinances, and laws.
