A-Z Fan Guide for Austin Peay Football Games at Fortera Stadium

ALCOHOL POLICY
NEW for 2019, fans can consume beer in two designated areas at Fortera Stadium: the VIPeay End Zone Experience, located near the south end zone on the west side of the stadium, and inside the beer garden located near the south end zone on the east side of the facility. The rules for consumption in the beer garden are as follows:
- All patrons wishing to purchase beer in the beer garden will be required to wear a designated wristband.
- Wristbands must be obtained prior to entry at Fortera Stadium at the tent located betweet Gates 2 and 3.
- Regardless of age, everyone will be required to produce valid photo identification to obtain a wristband.
- Accepted IDs must have the holder's birthday and photograph and include valid driver's licenses, military ID cards, passports and government-issued photo ID cards.
- A maximum of two (2) alcoholic beverages may be purchased at one time by an individual.
- Beer sales will conclude at the end of the third quarter.
- Individuals who provide alcohol to a minor, attempt to use a fake ID or are intoxicated will be ejected from Fortera Stadium and are subject to prosecution.
For the VIPeay End Zone experience, fans must have both a game ticket and a an additional VIPeay ticket, which grants access to complimentary food and beverage options. Access to the area, setup by PSR Events, will be limited to fans 21 years of age and above; proper photo ID will be required upon entry. The same rules and regulations regarding identification mentioned above apply; the VIPeay area will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff and remain open through the end of halftime.
Fans with ticketed access to the ECHO Power Club Level, suites, boxLIFE field-level suites or VIPeay End Zone may consume alcohol at their seats, but all alcoholic beverages MUST remain in those areas.
BEER GARDEN SALES
NEW for 2019, trained and licensed servers made available by Chartwell’s will sell beer in the Beer Garden located in the southeast corner of the stadium property, across the field from the current VIPeay experience. Fans wishing to purchase alcohol must get a wristband that will be provided at a location outside Gate 2 of Fortera Stadium and must have that wristband on when purchasing alcohol in the beer garden.
A maximum of two alcoholic beverages may be purchased per transaction and fans are asked to be patient while waiting to be served.
Beer sales will begin once the gates are opened to the general public and conclude at the end of the third quarter. At no time will alcoholic beverages be allowed to leave the Beer Garden. Personnel at the Beer Garden entry will ensure that all cups containing alcohol will be emptied as patrons exit the area.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Prohibited Behavior
Threatening or inconsiderate behavior such as standing in the aisles, portals, or concourses, profane and abusive language, smoking in public areas, solicitation inside or outside the stadium, fighting, and drunkenness will not be tolerated and can result in ejection, arrest, and/or loss of season ticket privileges. Throwing of any objects in the stands, including paper and plastic cups will also be prohibited. Should you observe any of this disruptive behavior, please notify your nearest law enforcement officer.
Access to the field area shall be limited to participating student-athletes, coaches, officials, support personnel and properly-credentialed individuals at all times. For the safety of participants and spectators alike, at no time before, during or after a contest shall spectators be permitted to enter the competition area.
Enforcement
Individuals found violating any policies can be removed from the stadium. Non-students are subject to arrest and prosecution under applicable laws and state statutes. Any items brought into the stadium are subject to being searched.
Students involved in such activities or other disruptive behavior will also be subject to disciplinary action. Students enjoy the rights and privileges that accrue to membership in a university community and are subject to the responsibilities which accompany that membership.
The Austin Peay Athletics Department reserves the right to remove the ticket holder from the premises if in the sole opinion of the security personnel his or her conduct endangers or disrupts the players, coaches, officials or fans.
CONCESSIONS
Concession stands are located on the concourse levels of the east and west grandstands, offering a variety of food and beverage options.

Gates to Fortera Stadium will open 1 hour prior to kickoff.

FIRST AID
For assistance in an emergency situation, please notify a law enforcement officer or an usher. Medical services are available at the First Aid station located at the north end of the stadium on the west side concourse level.
FORTERA STADIUM
In April 2016, Austin Peay State University and Fortera Credit Union partnered to rename historic Governors Stadium as Fortera Stadium.
Fortera Stadium re-opened in 2014 following the completion of a massive $16.9 million renovation that replaced the west side grandstands with a new structure that includes state-of-the-art amenities for student-athletes, coaches and fans as well as skyboxes, club level seating and new chairback seating.

GOV WALK
The Gov Walk will begin two and a half hours prior to kickoff. The team will exit buses on Drane Street near Joe & Cathi Maynard Stadium/Raymond C. Hand Park (Baseball Park) and will walk into Fortera Stadium through Tailgate Alley, in Lot 6 west of Fortera Stadium. Fans are encouraged to cheer on the Govs as they head into the stadium.
Please note that vehicles will not be permitted to park in the lots on Drane Street (Lots 6 & 50) beginning three hours prior to kickoff with parking in those lots resuming after the Govs Walk concludes.
HANDICAP ASSISTANCE
Parking
General public handicap parking is in the front row of Lot 7, immediately across from the east (visitor) side entrances to Fortera Stadium. Governors Club members with handicap parking needs can park in Lot 6 on the west (home) side of Fortera Stadium.
Seating
ADA seating is available on the west side of the stadium from Sections A through H.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, fans will be alerted via public address and video board announcement to seek shelter on the concourses of either side of the stadium. Fans will be notified via public address and law enforcement officers when it is safe to return to their seats. Until that time, fans WILL NOT be permitted into the seating areas.
LOST AND FOUND
Lost items will be taken to the ticket booth on the west (home) side of Fortera Stadium. Lost keys and wallets will be taken to the APSU Campus Police station, located in the Shasteen Building directly north of Fortera Stadium. To contact APSU Campus Police, please call (931) 221-7786.
LOST PATRONS
If a patron becomes lost during the game, fans are asked to alert the nearest usher or law enforcement officer.
MERCHANDISE AND APPAREL
Officially licensed Austin Peay merchandise and apparel can be purchased at the book store, located on the concourse level of the west (home) grandstands. Merchandise is also available for purchase on the suite level.
PARKING
Donor parking for qualified Monocle Society members in Lot 6 to the west (home) side of Fortera Stadium.
Tailgate Alley parking is reserved in Lots 6 and 50.
Media Parking is reserved in Lot 7, nearest Fortera Stadium.
Parking in all other lots and along streets on campus is free and open to the public. Public handicap parking is located in Lot 7 nearest Fortera Stadium.
NEW for 2019: With Stache Street opening three hours prior to kickoff, Austin Peay athletics and the Austin Peay police will work in tandem to close parking along Marion Street. Please be advised that routes will be affected to all parking lots.

boxLIFE Field Level Suites
The five Austin Peay-themed boxGATE suites are located in the north end zone at Fortera Stadium. Each suite includes 20 season tickets, four parking passes as well as access to the suite and its amenities during the season.
The boxGATE concept repurposes shipping containers to create a luxurious, self-contained tailgating experience that features space for serving food and beverage including a refrigerator and microwave, a flatscreen television, leather sofa, a grill and even an eight-foot by 20-foot observation deck.
Chairback Seats
Chairback seating is available in sections D and E of the west (home) side of Fortera Stadium.
ECHO Power Club Level
The Club Level is not only a great atmosphere and value for friends and family, but also an excellent venue to entertain clients, all with full service catering throughout every exciting moment of Governors Football.
The 2019 season at Fortera Stadium featured a sold-out club level and prompted a waiting list to help move season-ticket holders into Club Level seats as they come available. There are two ways to advance on the waiting list:

Suites
Fortera Stadium contains 13 suites. New for 2019, suite access will be limited to guests with proper credentials and suite constituents (both fourth-floor and end zone) will no longer have access to the club (third-floor) level.
VIPeay Endzone*
Nestled adjacent to the Hendricks Fox Walk of History, the VIPeay area will offer premium in-game food and beverage accommodations along with a place to mix and mingle with other Austin Peay fans with a field-level view of the action, as well as cornhole and other tailgate-style games and televisions to monitor other college football action around the country. The VIPeay End Zone will open with gates, one hour prior to kickoff and will remain open through the end of halftime.
This experience will include appetizers provided by Buffalo Wild Wings and other select sponsors of Austin Peay athletics, adult beverages provided by the Hand Family Company, and soft drinks and water provided by Coca-Cola. Access to the area will be limited to fans 21 years of age and above; proper photo identification will be required upon entry. Fans are also required to purchase a game ticket in addition to the VIPeay End Zone Experience entry ticket.

- Drones are not permitted around the perimeter or inside the stadium beginning one hour prior to kickoff and until one hour after its completion
- Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests or coolers
- Laser pointers
- Artificial noisemakers of any type (airhorns, plastic horns, whistles, etc.)
- Outside food or beverage
- Seatbacks larger than a single seat
- Banners, placards, and leaflets not pre-approved by the athletic department
- Folding chairs or stools
- Smoking (cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs, lighters, etc.)
- Umbrellas
- Weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, blades, explosives, mace, Tasers, pocket tools, etc.)
SMOKING POLICY
To comply with Tennessee state law, no smoking is permitted inside Fortera Stadium. This includes all areas inside the gates of the stadium including the concourses. Smoking is allowed in designated areas in the parking lots around the stadium.
NEW for 2019: STACHE STREET
Some general rules and policies for Stache Street, Austin Peay's new area for fan congregation along Marion Street on gameday.
- Will open four hours prior to kickoff for all Saturday contests.
- Will close 30 minutes prior to kickoff (same time as Tailgate Alley).
- Area to be filled with food trucks and gaming trucks, with weekly vendors subject to change.

TAILGATING
Tailgating Policies
Reserved tailgating spaces can be purchased for $20 per game through the Austin Peay Athletics Ticket Office online at LetsGoPeay.com/BuyTickets, based on availability. NEW for 2019, Tailgate Alley passes are limited to fans who are members of the Monocle Society.
Non-reserved space tailgating is permitted in all parking lots and green areas (without a vehicle) on campus. Fans must allow enough space between tailgates for vehicles to drive through the parking lots. Please do not use an empty parking space to setup your tailgate unless you have a reserved spot in Tailgate Alley.
All tailgate lots open at noon for home games, but setup can begin at 9 a.m.
Specific to Tailgate Alley: All vehicles must be parked at least three (3) hours prior to kickoff. Vehicles are not permitted to drive through Tailgate Alley after the three-hour mark due to The Gov Walk. Access to the Tailgate Alley overflow area (Lot 50) will remain available for purchase until the lot is full. Tailgate Alley will shut down 30 minutes prior to kickoff and fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at that time.

Military Tickets
The first 150 persons to present a valid United States Uniformed Services Privilege and Identification Card (USPIC, also known as a Military ID) at the ticket window on game day will receive a ticket for the general admission sections. You will be allowed only one free ticket per person with a valid USPIC. Also, each person may present only one USPIC at the time of admission. Additional tickets may be purchased at the regular price. Since the admission on your USPIC is for a ticket at the time of purchase only, persons who wish to sit together as a group should come to the game as a group.
Children Under Three
Children under three get in free, but are expected to sit in the lap of the parent or guardian.
Refund Policy
No refunds or exchanges will be offered on purchased tickets. Schedules are subject to change.
