NIL Player-Agent Registration Form

Based on the new NCAA legislation ahead of the 2021-22 year, Student-Athletes (SA's) can hire an agent, advisor, attorney, accountant or other licensed professional to assist in NIL-related activities ONLY. SA’s must pay the negotiated rate for any and all services related to this partnership, and all professional representatives must register with the Austin Peay State University Athletics Compliance Office.

The use of agents, advisors and attorneys must be restricted to pursuit of NIL activities, not securing professional athletic opportunities. It is HIGHLY recommended SA’s submit registration agreements with agents to the Austin Peay Athletics Compliance Office PRIOR to signing a binding contract. Agents also are required to register with the State of Tennessee and the Austin Peay Athletics Compliance Office at the below link.

SA’s can execute contracts/agreements with businesses and other promotional endeavors, but ALL contracts/agreements must be disclosed and approved first by the Austin Peay State University Athletics Compliance Office.
