2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 10 games for the Governors during the 2021 campaign… Recorded two quarterback hurries against Morehead State (Sept. 18)… Had a season-high two tackles and also assisted on a sack against Tennessee State (Nov. 13).
2020-2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Transferred from Florida Tech following the disbandment of the football team... Appeared in eight games across the 2020-2021 season and started a pair of OVC contests at defensive tackle... Posted a season-high four tackles, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hurry against Tennessee Tech (Feb. 21)… Notched his first career sack against Tennessee State (Feb. 28), dropping another runner behind the line as well for a second tackle for loss – a career-high… Finished the season with seven tackles.
Prior to Austin Peay: Was a member of Florida Tech roster but did not see action as a freshman in 2019.
High School: A defensive end for head coach Pete Fominaya at Gulf Coast High School… Finished prep career with 52 tackles, including 10 sacks at Gulf Coast High School… Finished second in the shot put at the 2019 FHSAA Class 3A State Outdoor Track & Field Championships after winning the Region 3 title in the event.
Personal: Kenneth Ismael Martin is the son of Zenzile and Ismael Martin… Birthday is May 3… Has four siblings: Brian, Tiffany, Grady, and Audrey… A marketing major.
