High School: Played linebacker for head coach Heath Ridenour at Cleveland High School… Named a First Team All-State selection by the New Mexico High School Coaches Association and USA Today following his senior season… Also an All-Metro selection by the Albuquerque Journal as a senior… Helped the Storm go undefeated and win a New Mexico 6A State Championship as a freshman in 2015… Led the Storm back to the State Championship and a runner-up finish as a senior in 2018… Rated a two-star prospect by 247Sports.com and Rivals.
Personal: Dion Dre Hunter is the son of Mike and Diana Hunter… Birthday is Sept. 16… Has three siblings, Ashley, Malik, and Quincy… Graduated from Cincinnati in April 2024 with a bachelor’s in general studies… Pursuing a master’s in leadership with a strategic leadership concentration.
