2023: Played in 11 games at defensive back and on special teams… Recorded a quarterback hurry at Tennessee (Sept. 9)… Posted a season-high two tackles at Lindenwood (Sept. 30)… Had a tackle at Southern Utah (Oct. 21) and against North Alabama (Oct. 28)… Finished the season with four tackles and a quarterback hurry.
Prior to Austin Peay: Played four seasons at Wofford (2019-22) where he made 20 starts in 30 appearances. 2022: Started all 11 games for the Terriers… Had a pass breakup in each of the first three games of the season while recording three tackles against Chattanooga (Sept. 3), five tackles against Elon (Sept. 10), and two tackles against Virginia Tech (Sept. 17)… Posted a career-best nine tackles – with seven solo stops – and his first-career tackle for loss against Mercer (Oct. 1)… Added four more tackles against The Citadel (Oct. 15)… Had an interception to go with a pair of tackles against VMI (Nov. 12)… Finished his final season at Wofford with 37 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, an interception, and three pass breakups. 2021: Appeared in just three games as a junior… Blocked a kick against Elon (Sept. 4)… Totaled four tackles against VMI (Sept. 25). 2020: Made five appearances during his COVID-altered spring season… Posted five tackles and a pass breakup against Chattanooga (Feb. 27)… Had seven tackles against Samford (March 13)… Recorded an interception and forced fumble – both the first of his collegiate career – to go along with a tackle against The Citadel (April 3)… Finished the spring season with 17 tackles, an interception, two passes defended, and a forced fumble. 2019: Played in 11 games for the Terriers as a true freshman… Had a season-best four tackles against South Carolina State (Aug. 31) in his collegiate debut… Added a tackle and a pass breakup against Gardner-Webb (Sept. 21)… Broke up another pass against Chattanooga (Oct. 26)… Made three tackles against Mercer (Nov. 9)… Finished his first collegiate season with 13 tackles and two pass breakups.
High School: Played cornerback and wide receiver for head coach Justin DeShon at Chapel Hill High School… Had three interceptions and 13 pass breakups on the defensive side during his senior season while also adding 12 catches for 376 yards and five touchdowns on offense… Had five interceptions and 20 pass breakups during his junior campaign… Graduated as Chapel Hill’s career leader in interceptions and was twice named a first team all-region and all-county selection… Also played basketball and competed in track and field for Panthers.
Personal: Miles Rae Richardson is the son of Keyna Pruitt… Birthday is Sept. 19… Has one sibling, Paris Pruitt… Graduated from Wofford in May 2023 with a bachelor’s in business economics… Pursuing a second bachelor’s in public management.
