2022: Played in all 11 games… Recorded a career-best three tackles to go along with a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup against Presbyterian (Sept. 3)… Added another tackle against Alabama A&M (Sept. 17)… Finished the season with four tackles – all were solo stops.
2021: Saw action in 10 games for the Governors during the 2021 season… Made first-career tackle at Murray State (Oct. 23).
2020-2021: Saw action in four games on special teams, including all three contests during the fall.
High School: Was a linebacker for Terry Crowder at Denmark High School where he was a Region 7-4A All-Region selection as a senior in 2019… Finished with 73 tackles, eight for loss, as a junior in 2018 while also gaining time as a wide receiver (220 yards, two touchdowns) and was selected to play in the GACA North-South All-Star Football Classic… Top-rated linebacker at the Nike Opening Combine in Nashville.
Personal: Nicholas Michael Carozza is the son of Carl and Kim Carozza… Birthday is March 13… has a brother, Kyle… A marketing major.
