Dean's List (F22)

2022: Played in all 11 games and made nine starts on the defensive line… Had a half tackle for loss in his Austin Peay debut against Western Kentucky (Aug. 27)… Made a season-best two tackles for the first of five times against Presbyterian (Sept. 3)… Totaled two tackles, a half tackle for loss, and a pass breakup against  Alabama A&M (Sept. 17)… Picked up two tackles and a sack against Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 24)… Had a pair of tackles in back-to-back games against Murray State (Oct. 15) and Jacksonville State (Oct. 29)… Notched half a tackle for loss against North Alabama (Nov. 5)… Finished the season with 14 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack.

Prior to Austin Peay: Played four seasons at Tennessee State and will utilize his COVID-19 waiver season at Austin Peay… Began collegiate career as an offensive lineman before moving to the defensive line as a freshman… Finished TSU career with 70 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks.

High School: Prepped at Mainland High School for head coach Scott Wilson where he was an offensive lineman… Rated a two-star recruit by 247 Sports and Rivals and ranked the No. 156 offensive guard by 247 Sports… Selected to play in the 2017 Central Florida All-Star Game… A 2016 First Team All-State selection as a junior by FloridaHSFootball.com… Also competed on the track & field team in the discus (20.93m) and shot put (11.5m) as a senior.

Personal: Raymond Leo Horton is the son of Sheila Browning… Has two siblings: Sgt. Gary Scott and Evelyn Browning… Birthday is June 11… A criminal justice major.
